3Credit Hours This course explores the innate relationship between the making of architecture and architectural theory as the events of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries unfold. Nineteenth century historicism in Europe and the United States is introduced and followed by an examination of the changing relationship to history that precedes the turn of the twentieth century.
