ACCT 4550: Accounting Data Analytics

3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: ACCT 3100, ACCT 3300 and ACCT 4050, 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0, and Admission to the Coles College Undergraduate Professional Program or student in a Coles College Partner Program that includes this course.
Concurrent: ACCT 4150
Knowledge of and competencies in data analytics has been identified as one of the growing needs for future accountants in all practice fields. This course will introduce students to this topic and have students use hands-on analytic tools such as Microsoft Access and other data analysis software.
