ANTH 2220: The Anthropology of Death 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 In this course, students examine how anthropologists have looked at the topic of death from a multitude of perspectives. Students explore the importance of death to the field of anthropology and also use it as a lens to examine American attitudes toward and rituals surrounding death.
