FILM 3105: Screenwriting 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 This class introduces students to fundamental and foundational techniques of screenwriting such as formatting, three-act structure, character development, plot function, and dialogue. Students will study screenwriting theory and practice techniques as they develop original (short) screenplays. Students will learn about professional standards and best industry practices. Table readings, one-on-one conferences, and peer revision techniques may be used.
