HESA 7150:Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness in Higher Education3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the Educational Leadership, M.Ed. This course examines the application of a variety of institutional assessment processes to inform the development, or improvement, of institutions of higher education. Special attention will be devoted to supporting strategic planning as a necessary foundation for both assessment and development. Further, the course provides context on how to transfer institutional research into effective marketing of post-secondary programs in a variety of media.
