CS 7550:Internet of Things Security3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: CS 7530 Courses that may be taken concurrently: CS 7540 This course introduces fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of the Internet of Things (IoT). The topics include, but are not limited to, state-of-the-art technologies in IoT networks, architectures, identifying key security risks including threats and attacks, privacy concerns, and defense mechanisms, in terms of mathematical foundations and algorithms. It also covers Cloud/Edge/Fog computing enabled IoT environments and their security/privacy issues. Students will obtain overall knowledge on IoT architectures and security/privacy technologies.
