ARCH 6000:Critical Inquiries and Discourses3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to Architecture, MSAR program. This course addresses the relevance of research questions in architecture and the assumptions that underlie them. The course emphasizes the essential role of description for formulating theoretical and methodological questions about the built environment and design. Such descriptions assist in the discovery of regularities that can be translated into theoretical questions and research hypotheses. The course is taught in a combined lecture and seminar format.
