CS 5000:Foundations of Programming3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours The course covers foundations of programming with emphasis on program design and computer science concepts. A modern, Object-Oriented language is used. Topics include primitive data types, arithmetic and logical operators, selection and repetition structures, methods, arrays, objects and classes, inheritance, polymorphism, exception handling, and file I/O. Programming projects are included.
