ARCH 2013:Accelerated Studio III0 Class Hours 15 Laboratory Hours 6 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ARCH 1012 This course concentrates on shaping, organizing, and designing architectural spaces using spatial and compositional strategies derived from site, climate, program, precedent, and architectural case studies. The focus is on the identification and manipulation of the elements of design, understanding spatial relationships between the human body and various spatial systems, immediate site and environmental context in design. Projects may vary from exploration of architectural design vocabularies in built forms to single and multi-function spaces with site constraints.
