MENT 3326:International Media3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: COMM 2230 ; Must be a declared major in the School of Communication and Media. This course explores mass media and culture from an international perspective. Students analyze international communication theories, global communication infrastructure, the global media marketplace, and international communication and the internet. Students also examine specific communication systems, both democratic and authoritarian, and how media is disseminated in a global context. International media products such as film, music, radio, and TV programming, online content, and advertisements are also covered.
