NURS 4428:Survivorship: The Cancer Model3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: NURS 3209 This course will introduce students to the principles of cancer survivorship. Issues related to interprofessional care, quality of life, economics, political influences, genetic implications, access to health care, and adaptation for the cancer survivor and family will be explored. This is an elective course, which augments and enhances the basic oncology concepts of the curriculum and exposes the student to new ways of thinking about cancer survivors.
