ECON 4310:Economic Development in Global Perspective3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ECON 2105 , 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0, and Admission to the Coles College Undergraduate Professional Program or student in a Coles College Partner Program that includes this course. An analysis of key development issues both as they relate to individual countries and to factors linking countries, such as international trade and capital flows. Topics addressed include savings, investment, technology, demographics, human resources, and economic institutions. Investigates these topics for third world countries and those that are more economically advanced.
