RE 3400 - Principles of Real Estate3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Business Majors: Sophomore GPA Requirement and FIN 3100; Non-business Majors: 60 credit hours and FIN 3100. Students are introduced to the principles of real estate analysis and utilization. Subjects include the nature of real property; the legal instruments involved in real property transactions; market analysis and the determinants of real estate values; the appraisal process; investment and financial analysis; and the public policy aspects of real estate planning and utilization.
