ACCT 9005:Developments in Accounting Research Seminar3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission into the PhD in Business Administration Program. This course introduces students to developments in selected research areas in accounting within the context of important elements of the research process. The important research issues examined should enable students to understand the nature and developments in accounting research. The nature of the course necessitates drawing from seminal and contemporary research articles. As such, each seminar will focus on the research questions, theories, research designs and methods, and interpreting empirical results. Students are requested to supplement the required readings with other readings and research methods textbooks.
