GEOG 3850:Global Climate Change3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: GEOG 1112 This course gives students an overview of Global Climate Change by bringing together science, impacts, abatement technologies, and policy solutions. From an interdisciplinary perspective with geographical emphasis, it leads students to examine the scientific basis, current scientific understanding, future projections, and impacts of climate change, uncertainties and debates on climate change, and technologies and policies to deal with climate change, through lecture presentations, group projects, readings, exams, and a research paper.
