CHEM 3701:Atmospheric Chemistry 3-0-3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: CHEM 2800 Atmospheric chemistry is the study of physical and chemical processes in the atmospheric layer. This course is aimed to improve our understanding of atmosphere layers, atmospheric transport, biogeochemical cycles of gaseous compounds, aerosol, acid rain, air pollutions, ozone depletion, greenhouse gases and global warming, chemical kinetics in mesosphere and thermosphere. Atmospheric chemistry is an elective for Environmental Science or Chemistry major students.
