BIOL 4431:Human Physiology3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: (BIOL 1108 and BIOL 1108L ) and (CHEM 1212 and CHEM 1212L ) This course is designed to introduce biology majors to the fundamentals of mammalian physiology, with the human as the model organism. This course emphasizes the normal functioning of the human body, homeostatic mechanisms, and the relationship between form and function; however, disease states will be described at various times to illustrate how normal functions become disrupted.
