PSYC 4500:Capstone Integrative Project3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSYC 4100 , a minimum institutional GPA of 3.00, and permission of the instructor (via departmental application). One course from each of the psychology curriculum areas must be completed (one grouping may be taken concurrently with PSYC 4500). This capstone course is designed to complete the major by integrating the student’s prior academic experiences in psychology. The course focuses on applying research methods and statistics knowledge through project-based experiences. Discussion focuses on both substantive and methodological concerns, as well as developing and applying research skills. Results of project-based experiences are communicated through scientific writing and presentation(s).
