ANTH 4411:Bioarchaeology of Greece3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ANTH 3301 or ANTH 3305 or ANTH 3350 This course introduces students to the practice of bioarchaeology in Greece from the early 1900’s through today. Students trace the development of bioarchaeology from its early roots in typology through the paradigm shift of the New Physical Anthropology to modern scientific analyses of human skeletal remains. Case studies and classic anthropological texts are read and discussed.
