PSYC 3301:Experimental Design and Analysis3 Class Hours 2 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSYC 2210 and PSYC 2300 In this course, students examine experimental designs used in psychological research. Topics include the selection of appropriate experimental designs for different research questions, hypothesis testing, independent-groups and within-subjects designs, complex designs, data collection strategies, statistical analysis using t-tests and analysis of variance, the interpretation of results, and the writing of research reports. Laboratory work is designed to enable students to apply course topics.
