FIN 3100:Principles of Finance3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: (Grades of “B” or higher in ACCT 2101 , ACCT 2102 , ECON 2106 , ECON 2105 and ECON 2300 ) or Admission to Coles College Undergraduate Professional Program or completion of 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0, ACCT 2101 , ACCT 2102 , ECON 2106 , ECON 2105 (ECON 2300 or STAT 1401 ) and student in a Coles College Partner Program that includes this course. An introductory course designed to develop knowledge of the basic concepts, principles, and functions of managerial finance. Topics include the time value of money, valuation of bonds and stocks, financial analysis, working capital management, capital budgeting, and capital structure strategies.
