ARCH 6310:Spatial Analysis3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours The course is an intensive survey of advanced analytical methods of built form. It addresses the complex relationship between societal norms and the configuration of build space. The course is centered on two questions of how space influences human perception, behavioral patterns and creation of community, and how to formulate spatial programmatic, concepts based on organizational models. Students will be able to learn the basic techniques of spatial representation, network theory and formal computational analysis.
