ASIA 8100:Comprehensive Overview of Asia3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admissions into any KSU graduate program. This course is a comprehensive interdisciplinary examination of the origins and development of Asian cultures and practices, including the geography, history, philosophy, religion, politics, economy, literature and the arts. With emphasis on China, India, Japan, Korea, India, and Southeast Asia, the course provides an advanced understanding of Asia, including an overview of the region and an examination of how the past influences the present.
