EE 6305:Introduction to Radar Systems3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MSAE program This course covers the fundamental concepts of the operation and design of radar systems for a variety of applications. Topics covered include the radar range equation, signal-to-noise ratio, radar cross section, range and velocity ambiguity, radar clutter, detection, countermeasures, receiver design, transmitters and antenna systems. Applications include pulsed, CW, and FM radars, Doppler radars, airborne radars, and synthetic aperture radars.
