CHNS 7702:Chinese Linguistics3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MAT program in Foreign Languages. This course is a study of the most important aspects of Chinese linguistics, including the history of the language, linguistic reform, phonology, script, morphology, and syntax. This course will also examine classical and literary languages, modern standard language, and major dialects. Course taught primarily in Chinese.
