CHNS 7722:Masterpieces of Chinese Literature3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MAT program in Foreign Languages. This course is a study of the most important works of Chinese literature from ancient times to the early twentieth century. The selected works represent China’s literary traditions, major genres, and literary techniques. Emphasis is given to textual analysis and the relationship between literary texts and Chinese language. Course is taught primarily in Chinese.
