CHEM 7500:Chemical Biology3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission and enrollment in the Master of Science in Chemical Sciences degree program or permission of the program director or chair. This course provides a foundational experience in chemical biology for students in the MS in Chemical Sciences. Topics covered will include the broad array of the interdisciplinary field of chemical biology, covering areas such as biomacromolecular synthesis, structure and function, molecular biology, molecular recognition and binding, kinetics and catalysis, proteomics and molecular evolution.
