BIOL 7333:Ecological Physiology3 Class Hours 3 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission and enrollment in the Master of Science in Integrative Biology program and a grade of “C” or better in BIOL 3370/3370L, or permission of the graduate program coordinator. This course will explore the physiological mechanisms used by plants and animals to address common environmental problems. It will present the functional mechanisms that underlie organismal interactions with their environment providing causal explanations for distributions across ecosystems. Lab experiments will integrate physiology and ecology across plant and animal systems.
