CHEM 5700:Environmental Chemistry3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in CHEM 3361 or equivalent This course covers the environmental chemistry involving the transport, distribution, reactions, and speciation of inorganic, organometallic and organic chemicals occurring in the air, soil and water environments at the local, national and global scale. Environmental transformations and degradation processes, toxicology, pollution and hazardous substances are discussed. This course is for MAT, M.Ed. and Ed.S. (middle grades education) students only.
