SURV 2110:Introduction to Mapping3 Class Hours 3 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: MATH 1113 Introductory class in basic surveying and mapping skills including geographic information systems (GIS). Topics include scales, leveling, horizontal measurements, GPS mapping, topography, map projections, GIS analytical tools, data sources, raster and vector data and software applications. Emphasis will be on small scale mapping.
