MET 4133:Advanced Engineering Materials3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: MET 3132 and (ENGR 3131 or MET 3124 ) The course covers polymers, ceramics, composites, and advanced topics in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy. Advanced topics in mechanics of materials, including failure theories and analysis of composites are studied. Traditional methods and Finite Element Modeling and Analysis (FEM/FEA) are used.
