MGT 4700:Hospitality Management3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: MGT 3100 , 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0, and Admission to the Coles College Undergraduate Professional Program or student in a Coles College Partner Program that includes this course. This survey course provides students with an understanding of the Hospitality Industry and the role it plays in the both the U.S. and global economies. This course provides an overview of hospitality management areas such as lodging, food service, travel, and entertainment and career opportunities in each area. The main goal of the course is to expose students to the hospitality industry and provide an understanding of the unique aspects of managing businesses in this industry.
