PSYC 3301:Experimental Design and Analysis3 Class Hours 2 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSYC 2210 , and PSYC 2300 In this course, students examine experimental designs used in psychological research. Topics include the selection of appropriate experimental designs for different research questions, hypothesis testing, independent-groups and within-subjects designs, complex designs, data collection strategies, statistical analysis using t-tests and analysis of variance, the interpretation of results, and the writing of research reports. Laboratory work is designed to enable students to apply course topics.
