IT 5423:Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Networks3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours This course will cover the most important aspects of computer systems: software, hardware, computer architecture, operating system, networking, etc. Typical computer architectures and operating systems will be introduced. Protocols in different layers of TCP/IP will be discussed. After taking this course, students should have a deep understanding of computer systems and networking and be prepared for higher level CS/IT courses.
