MSCM 7230:Foundations and Theories of Conflict Management: ADR Continuum1 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 1 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MSCM program or permission of the program director in consultation with faculty. This course helps students develop an understanding of the nomenclature of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes commonly used in the United States. The students will examine the history and evolution of ADR, as well as briefly examining a number of individual processes in detail, such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration, early neutral evaluation, ombuds offices, etc.
