MUED 3302 - Choral Methods, Materials and Curriculum3 Credit Hours 3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours Prerequisites MUSI 2222, EDUC 2110, acceptance into Teacher Education Program. The development of the specific teaching skills, techniques and materials to support the role of the choir director and vocal music teacher. The course prepares prospective choral/vocal track music specialists for all aspects of the role including curriculum design, rehearsal procedures, methodologies, and the study of appropriate choral literature. Field component, peer teaching and laboratory conducting are required. This course is a requirement for all choral/vocal music education majors.
