EDRD 4411 - Reading Diagnostics for Teachers of Adolescents

Prerequisites Admission to teacher education.
An introduction to a wide range of reading assessment instruments including reading inventories, miscue analysis, and pausing indices used for understanding the individual and diverse needs of adolescents. Teacher candidates in this course will examine both informal and formal assessments including technology-based assessment. Candidates will use assessment data to plan, evaluate, and revise effective reading instruction that meets the diverse needs of students.
