ECE 4404 - Teaching Reading & Language Arts Across the Curriculum in Early Childhood Education

3 Credit Hours 2 Class Hours 5 Laboratory Hours
Prerequisites EDUC 3302, ECE 3340.
Study of the integration of language arts across the curriculum and effective strategies for planning, implementing and evaluating instruction in reading, writing, listening and speaking in preschool through fifth grade. Emphasis on assessment techniques and approaches to conducting guided lessons in reading and writing that are culturally and developmentally appropriate. Includes an extensive field experience and media use.
