CHEM 3110 - Bioinorganic Chemistry3 Credit Hours 3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours Prerequisites C or better grade in CHEM 3050.Corequisites CHEM 3110L. General aspects of bioinorganic chemistry will be discussed including physical methods, roles of metals in biological systems, classes of metalloproteins and metalloenzymes, and metals in medicine. The primary focus is on understanding how metals make a variety of biological functions possible through their unique properties.
