CHEM 3050 - Physical Chemistry3 Credit Hours 3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours Prerequisites C or better grade in MATH 2202 and CHEM 2800. This is a one semester course in physical chemistry taken by students majoring in biochemistry, general chemistry, forensic chemistry and chemistry education. The course provides a survey of thermodynamics, chemical equilibria, and kinetics. It also includes an introduction to the quantum mechanical principles important in understanding molecular spectroscopy and molecular modeling.
