BLAW 4300 - Real Estate Law3 Credit Hours 3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours Prerequisites Business Majors: Sophomore GPA Requirement; Non business Majors: 60 semester hours; BLAW 2200 recommended and permission of department chair. Designed to provide the business student with an understanding of the nature, sources and principles of real estate law, and its importance in the business environment. Topics include: real property; contracts involving real estate, deeds and titles; transfer of real estate, mortgages, liens, zoning and land use controls, condemnation, real estate agents and landlord-tenant law.
