CS 6060 - Wireless and Mobile Computing3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MSCS program. This course covers concepts of mobile computing and current technologies including mobile communication, the 2G and 3G communication systems, mobile IP, and mobile TCP. Will also include coverage of databases in mobile systems, methods of data caching, dissemination and synchronization, Bluetooth, IrDA and ZigBee protocols, data security, mobile ad hoc and wireless sensor networks, and languages and operating systems for mobile devices.
