ECON 8640 - Business Conditions Analysis3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ECON 8010 or equivalent. Provides an introduction to the analysis of macroeconomic fluctuations and business conditions in both the domestic and international arenas. Topics include monetary and fiscal policy as causal factors of economic activity, the complexity of monetary policy in the global economy, and the design and utilization of large-scale macroeconomic models. This course also provides a critical historical review of domestic and international fluctuations in the post 1944 era.
