ILEC 8940 - Directed Study in Leadership and Ethics1-3 (Repeatable, for a maximum of 6 credit hours) Credit Hours Prerequisites: Permission of instructor and approval of program director Advanced study or special topics student projects in leadership and ethics. This concentration is available to all KSU graduate students, regardless of program, who wish to pursue applied careers in the various fields and professions that have components in gerontology and/or geriatrics. This interdisciplinary program provides core knowledge of gerontology and lifespan human development in conjunction with more specialized and in-depth training specific to particular disciplines in which students are planning to work (e.g., nursing, public administration). The concentration features the opportunity for graduate students to develop specific sets of practical skills for use in a variety of applied markets.
