CS 6810 - Strategic Computing1 Credit Hours 1 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours Prerequisites: Admission to the MSACS program. Reading, lectures, and discussion on the changing nature of computing and technology in the information age. Strategic computing views computing technology as an infrastructure component, but also as a competitive advantage for business firms and nations. As a result of globalization and the internet, barriers to international competition have been reduced, resulting in the globalization of computing design and engineering processes.
