ARED 7706 - Theory and Criticism in Art Education3 Credit Hours 3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours Prerequisites: ARED 6200L and ARED 7702. Candidates understand theory and criticism in art education by researching, critically reading and interpreting works of art within a historical/cultural context. Theories and models of contemporary art education practice are explored, which strengthen the respect proper to all classroom diversities. In addition to on-line course work, classroom work is required to carry out directed activities.
