PSYC 4420 - Ethics and Professional Issues in Applied Psychology3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: One psychology 3000-level course. A critical analysis of professional issues and the ethical standards in the practice of psychology. Traditional and emerging practice areas will be discussed. Topics such as licensure, prescription drug privileges, managed care, and treatment efficacy research will be explored. Ethical standards and decision-making will be studied in the context of professional practice.
