IPM 7756 - Global Regulatory Policy3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the MSIPM program (sequenced course requirement within cohort degree program). This course examines the development of domestic and international regulatory climates and ensuing regulations made by governments and international institutions such as the European Union. Regulation covers a broad range of topics including labor, trade, production, health and safety, and environmental issues and has a significant impact on private sector interface with foreign governments and institutions. This course will also examine the impact of bilateral and multilateral treaties, such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), on the regulatory arena.
