ISA 3100:Principles of Information Security3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: [(Grades of “B” or higher in (MATH 1160 or MATH 1190 ), ACCT 2101 , ACCT 2102 , ECON 2106 , ECON 2105 and IS 2200 ) or Admission to Coles College Undergraduate Professional Program] or (completion of 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0, IS 2200 , and student in a Coles College Partner Program that includes this course). An introduction to the various technical and administrative aspects of Information Security and Assurance. This course provides the foundation for understanding the key issues associated with protecting information assets, determining the levels of protection and response to security incidents, and designing a consistent, reasonable information security system, with appropriate intrusion detection and reporting features.
