BIOL 4431K - Human Physiology3 Class Hours 3 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in BIOL 1108/1108L and CHEM 1212/1212L This course is designed to introduce biology majors to the fundamentals of mammalian physiology, with the human as the model organism. This course emphasizes the normal functioning of the human body, homeostatic mechanisms, and the relationship between form and function; however, disease states will be described at various times to illustrate how normal functions become disrupted.
